Q: How old do I need to be to register in Singles Seeking?

A: You must be at least 18 years of age and single.

Q: Can anyone, living anywhere register for Singles Seeking?

A: Yes, except for people living where prohibited by law.

Q: If I register for Singles Seeking, does that mean I agree with the terms and conditions of the site?

A: Yes. By registering you agree to comply with the terms and conditions for as long as you continue to be a member of the registry.

Q: Will you guarantee that I will find a match?

A: The registry is available on an "as is" basis, without guarantees of any kind.

Q: Will the terms and conditions of the site ever change?

A: Yes. They can be modified at any time.

Q: Once I am registered for the service, does that mean I am registered forever?

A: No. You may terminate your profile from Singles Seeking at any time, for any reason.

Q: May I use the registry for commercial purposes?

A: No. This service is for personal use only.

Q: Do I need to worry about privacy when registering for Singles Seeking?

A: The nickname you enter when you register is shown publicly with your profile. Your city and state are used for matching purposes, and your email address is used to contact you. The email address is hidden behind the Singles Seeking contact system.

In terms of other information you post, display or transmit to others, you are solely responsible for what you choose to share. Please carefully select the type of information that you post on the Service or release to others.

Q: What types of things are expected for online conduct?

A: Please use common sense. Do not use defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, obscene, profane, offensive, sexually oriented, threatening, harassing or racially offensive material online. Photographs or other images must not contain nudity. They will be rejected if they are viewed as inappropriate. Use the Service in a manner consistent with any and all applicable laws and regulations, and the Terms and Conditions of the site.

Q: Do copyright laws apply with this registry?

A: Yes. Do not post, distribute or reproduce, in any way, any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information without obtaining the prior consent of the owner.

Q: Why do I have to complete another registration upon entering Lutherans Online?

A: Pieces of information you share within Singles Seeking will be used to allow us to facilitate matches. Because of this, we do have an additional registration that allows you to create a username specific to Singles Seeking. This is different than your regular user ID.

Q: How do I subscribe to/unsubscribe from the auto-generated emails?

A:

1. Click on Specific Search.
2. At the bottom of the page, select Yes or No under the question that asks "Would you like to be notified by email of new users who match your search?" You can only have one type of search at a time, and modifying your selections will overwrite any other previous settings. Your last entry is what is saved as your preference for email.
3. Click Get Results.

Q: Why have I not received any responses?

A:

• A spam filter may not have accepted the email sent from mail@thrivent.com, or it may have placed the email in your spam or junk folder. Check to see if an email from Singles Seeking Administrator was delivered there. Make sure your email account will accept the Thrivent email address. If not, add this email address to your list of allowed senders.
• You may have entered your email address incorrectly during your Singles Seeking registration. To verify and update your email address, log in to Singles Seeking and go to Edit Registration.
