Posting for Single Lutheran Baby Boomers events in the Seattle area.
Our main meeting place is Gloria Dei Lutheran, 3215 Larch Way, Lynnwood, WA (425 776-2444).

If you are coming from Seattle direction and are willing to take I-5 here is how:

Merge onto I-5 N.
Take the 44TH AVE W exit, exit number 181A, towards WA-524/LYNNWOOD.
Turn RIGHT onto 44TH AVE W.
Turn LEFT onto 212TH ST SW.
212TH ST SW becomes LARCH WAY.

The church is on the left after you pass the traffic light at POPLAR WAY and LARCH WAY
If you are coming from the north or are unwilling to take I-5, you can check it out on Mapquest.com or call the church and ask for directions.

The events planned so far - Come join in!
These events usually take place at Gloria Dei, Lynnwood at 3215 Larch Way, and usually on the 4th Saturday evening. We appreciate the use of the church's meeting room for these (usually) 6:30 p.m. gatherings. Check the the time on specific dates.

All meetings and events take place at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, unless otherwise noted, in Lynnwood at 3215 Larch Way.  We meet on the fourth Saturday of each month, exceptions will be noted.
 
Saturday April 23 @6:30 PM
Dinner and Easter Vigil
We will have a simple soup dinner. Followed by an Easter Vigil reading. We will be eating in a different room keep your ears and eyes open when you walk in the doors. Signs should be up to direct you.
Menu: Soup – Nancy & Karen, Bread – Judy, Drink - Jann
 
Saturday May 28 @ 4:00 PM
Rhododendron and Hot Dogs
We will meet at the church to carpool to Rhododendron Ridge Arboretum (not far from the church). We will tour a local Arboretum. We will return to the church by 6:30, for the hotdogs and what other food items were brought to share.

Saturday June 25 @ 6:30 PM
Potluck and games
Bring a food item to share for the potluck. We will follow with a board game. Bring your favorite game and we will choose from what arrives.

Saturday July 23 @ 11:00 AM,
Edmond’s Farmers’ Market and brown bag lunch
Meet at Top Foods and Drug on 220th and Hiway 99 in Edmonds. Park up by 99. We will car pool to the Farmers’ Market (parking is limit downtown Edmonds). After walking and shopping we will break for lunch.

Pinic and Llama farm @ Karen’s in Arlington
Our annual picnic in Arlington at Karen’s. Details to follow.

Saturday September 24,
Cookie Bake-off and potluck @ 6:00 PM
Cookie bake for the Compass Center Dinner to be served by the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. We are providing desert. Bring a batch of cookie dough. (You may bring them baked.) We will bake then together. (Gallon size storage bags are appreciated for storing.)

Saturday October 22,
Dinner and Bible Study @ 6:30 PM
Bring a food item to share. We will follow with a Bible study.

Saturday November 26,
Post-Thanksgiving Dinner @ 6:00 PM and Sing-Along
This is our traditional post-Thanksgiving dinner event. Bring your favorite Thanksgiving food item to share. Roasted Turkey will be there. Come and enjoy the food and the good company.
Turkey carving and room set up will begin around 6:00 PM. We will put the food out and eat around 6:30 PM.

December 10, second Saturday
Birthday Celebration Potluck @ 6:30 PM
Bring a food item to share.

Christian Singles - Rockin' Romance Dance!
