This area is for an introduction to the site, as well as a brief explanation of the links, etc. It is designed to make navigation as easy as possible for visitors - as well as allowing them little possiblity of getting "lost"!

I've added an active link - the "Find a Way", so you could see a working link. This is just something I thought would add a nice touch - it can easily be removed.
I've also added buttons for the different topics - the wording can be changed, but in order to fit on the buttons neatly, shouldn't be more than 14 letters and spaces long. If you look at the "present a program" button, you can see that the text is a bit smaller - this is because it didn't fit in the size used on the other buttons. We could always make a separate button as I did (see bottom-left) for the "Help make us Mission of the Month".
Each page on the site would look the same, for consistency and to allow visitors to access any page, no matter which page they're currently on.
In addition, the link to the prayer request is set up - if you click on the button, it will take you to a page with a form to send in a prayer request. I now have it set up so the request would go to my inbox.
