Victor Herbert Martin Rieck, the fifth child of Harry H. Rieck, Sr. and Eleanor Wittmer Rieck, was born in Preston, Maryland on August 8, 1930. Vera Phyllis Williams, the only child of Maurice Walton Williams and Alma Schevel Williams, was born in Easton, Maryland on September 22, 1932. Both were baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Preston. They were married on June 8, 1951 at Martini Lutheran Church in Baltimore, Maryland. This union was blessed with the birth of 5 children: Victoria Stephanie, born on March 9, 1952; Valerie Lynn, born on June 19, 1953; Vera Cheryl, born on October 9, 1954; Victor Herbert Martin, Jr., born on January 23, 1958 and Vincent Eric Kevin, born on March 17, 1961. |
