Christ Lutheran Church, West Newton, PA

The church is located at Vine & 3rd Streets in West Newton. Vine Street runs parellel to Main Street, which is Pa. route 136.

To approach from the east: exit the Pennsylvania Turnpike at New Stanton, take I-70 west to the "West Newton" exit, take route 31 west for about 5 miles until it ends, then continue straight onto route 136 west which becomes Main Street of West Newton. Proceed down the hill into town, make a left on 3rd Street, and proceed one block to Vine Street.

To approach from the west: from route 51 (Pittsburgh to the north, Uniontown to the south), exit onto route 136 and proceed east for 4 miles into West Newton. Cross the bridge over the Youghiogheny River, make an immediate right off the bridge, go one block and turn left onto Vine. Cross the railroad tracks, pass the Post Office on your right, and see the church on your right at 3rd Street.
