Urgent Call for Volunteers during the week

Our Thrivent Builds projects in Carpentersville and Riverdale are in need of some weekday help. If you are available to help at either site, as an individual or small group, please contact the volunteer coordinators ASAP. Thank you! We're painting in Riverdale and getting ready for drywall in Carpentersville.

MORE than Half-way HOME for Nine Families!!
size:269.50 K Processing Funds	Thank you to the congregations who have forwarded their fundraising goals or actual contributions already this year! We have pledges for 72% of the $127,000 we need! We still need to raise an additional $35,000 to complete these nine projects. Can you help? Inga Theeke, Debbie Bodett and your Chapter Specialists would love to help suggest ways that your congregation or small groups within the congregation may be able to help raise funds for Thrivent Builds. If your congregation is considering a pledge of cash, fundraisers or gifts-in-kind, please contact Inga Theeke ASAP (inga.theeke@thrivent.com or 630-341-7663). Instructions to process funds raised or donated to Thrivent Builds are attached here. Chicagoland Teams Led Five TB Worldwide trips in 2008!!
size:205.00 K Please fill out this proposal form if you are interested in leading a worldwide or Gulf Coast trip in 2009	Local teams went to Biloxi, El Salvador, Ethiopia and New Orleans this year. It time to join the TBW team leaders who are in the early stages of planning next year’s trips. The page attached here contains detailed information about the requirements to lead a TBW team in 2009 and what the destinations and costs will be. Please contact Inga Theeke with any questions.
