Diane Reimold led a Thrivent Workshop on Identity Theft before the dinner with 34 present.

Octoberfest totals: 76 persons were present- 70 Thrivent members and 6 guests. Seventeen congregations were represented:

Paul Alwardt, Vice President served as our Master of Ceremonies. David Knoernschield offered the opening prayer. Immanuel was thanked for hosting the event. The barbeque dinner and fabulous desserts were enjoyed by all. Entertainment was provided by Charles Ritchie and his 3 tier organ.

Rose Klimek, 2010 President, recognized the 2010 Board of Directors and Congregational Advocates and all volunteers working on Thrivent projects. Marjorie Gluckner spoke about the need for Thrivent members to vote on the projects they wish to receive their special allocation of Thrivent funds. The OWLS were recognized as a sponsored group of our chapter. Life Blood Representative, June Kendall, asked for members to consider a donation of blood to the local Blood Bank. Marty Lonvick appealed to us to support the Race for Grace to help the work of the Church Health Center. Rose asked us to buy a Trinity Hope T-Shirt to support the Haitian Christian School lunch project. We will be selling these for the next month or until we reach our goal . We hope to send them $600.

The 2011 Thrivent officers were chosen by unanimous vote of the Thrivent members present.

$200 was presented to each of the churches present who are working on special projects.

Door prizes were awarded and Rev. Timm Griffin closed the meeting with prayer.
