Jr. High Youth Ministry |
The Jr. High Youth ministry at St. Peter Lutheran Church is meant for all 6th, 7th and 8th graders that wish to join us for a time of Christian fellowship. We welcome all youth to join us for our get togethers and activities. Our next get together will be on Sunday, October 16th. We will meet at the school from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.Our topics for this year will all discuss "Priorities with God". We have learned that PRAYER can be a POWERFUL tool for us to use when looking and dealing with our life's PRIORITIES. The leaders of the group are Mr. and Mrs. James Skibbe. Rejoicing In Him through Prayer |

I thank You, Lord, that this is the day that You have made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. I rejoice because once I was lost, but now I am found. Once I was blind, but now I see. Once I was on my way to hell, but now I am on my way to heaven. Lord, I will rejoice Your love has redeemed me from destruction and has filled me with Your righteousness. I can rejoice today because You promised to never leave me or forsake me. Help me to rejoice in the midst of trials and tribulation. Help me to keep my mind focused on You and Your Word even in the middle of adversity and conflict. Help me to realize that my joy is not based on the circumstances around me but is the result of Your presence within me. Therefore, I can rejoice and shout for joy. Because You love me, Your desire is for me to be blessed and fulfilled in every area of my life. You are a great and wonderful God, and I will rejoice in Your name forever. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. | |

We ask for your support of this youth ministry. We need the support of the parents of the youth to actively keep them encouraged and to transport them to the get togethers. We also need much prayer support from all individuals as we work with the future of tomorrow. | |
