Historic contacts and information on recovery from hurricane Katrina in East Mississippi
Mission Statement
Rebuild East Mississippi (REM) reponds to those affected by disasters empowering the recovery of individuals by advocating for resources to meet unmet needs.
Goals:
1) To provide aid and assistance to residents of East Mississippi and evacuees
affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita through long term recovery efforts.

2) To serve unmet needs of individuals in Lauderdale, and respond by invitation to, Clarke, Kemper, Wayne and Newton counties.

3) To discern needs and resources of individuals through case work and to meet those needs through collaborative efforts.

4) To attend to the spiritual, pastoral and emotional needs of adults and children.
