Welcome to a Proske Family/Familie Proske homepage. The goal of this website is to be a repository of Proske family history. In the 1600s and 1700s, Proskes were very highly concentrated in Silesia (now southwestern Poland.) There is evidence that the Proske name was originally Czech, but today the majority of Proskes are German or German-American.
My name is Jana Proske Brazeal. My Proske line is from Münsterberg, Silesia. My gr-gr-grandfather, Theodore Louis Proske, came to St.Louis, Missouri USA in 1857.
