Welcome to everyone! We arrived in Fort Wayne on July 5, and soon had our little aparment in shape (of course, since we left half of our belongings in Silverdale, and the apartment is quite small, this wasn't too big of a task.) We have spent the last month applying for jobs, learning about the Fort Wayne area, applying for jobs, attending free concerts, applying for jobs, volunteering for VBS, interviewing for jobs, enjoying Zesto's Ice Cream, interviewing for jobs, taking long walks (as long as the heat and humidity will let us), applying for jobs, checking out the LCMS churches in the area, and interviewing for jobs. You've proably sensed that for Darlene finding a job is the number one priority! She may be close to landing that perfect job - stay tuned - we'll let you know as soon as it happens. |
