Our Church |
Zion Lutheran Church, Power, MontanaWe're an active neighborhood church with a lot of activities for a small country church. We have a thriving Sunday School and Youth Group. Worship services are Sunday Mornings at 11:00 AM
Holy Communion is held on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month.
Sunday School and Adult Bible Class begins before church at 9:45 AM. For the Advent season we'll celebrate the coming of our dear Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday Evenings at 7:00 PM. All are invited to join us for any and all Worship services! | |
LWML-Lutheran Women in Mission is a group made up of Lutheran women from each congregation who have come together to help with the ministry of the church. Their work is faithful and necessary. |

Our Zion chapter LWML meets every 1st Sunday of each month at 9:00 AM. We meet at the church, in the kitchen (where else would the ladies be?), and our meetings consist of a devotion, Bible Study, refreshments and a business meeting. We make plans for the coming months to help with the activities at the church.We truly believe the saying that "many hands makes light work" as we work together to accomplish so many things. The very best part of our LWML group is the Christian friendship and support that we share with eachother. We are there for each other through all of life's ups and downs and that is a terrific feeling to know that you are loved and supported by other Christian women. ALL women of the congregation are members and are encouraged to join us! |
We had a great turn out for our Community Christmas Tea for the women of Power, Montana. It was fun and everyone got to go home with a little gift. The church decorating turned out wonderful! Thanks to all who participated in this big job! Our next meeting is Sunday, January 7th at 9:00 AM at the church. (Zion Lutheran Church, Power, Montana) We'll have a Bible Study and discuss upcoming projects. Please feel free to join us! |

Youth Group News |
Hey gang! We've got a lot happening here at Zion! Open Church is on Sunday evenings at 7:00 PM. At open church, it's your call what we do. Some nights we go to the gym at the school and play basketball or volleyball. We can play board games, we even had a trivia contest one week. We end with a short (15 min.) devotion. This summer we're looking forward to attending the Higher Things Youth Gathering "For You" in Minneapolis Mn. This happens July 24th through the 27th. Right now we're planning on taking the train to Minneapolis and back. It should be a great time! Most youth are registered to go, but if you want to go, there might still be a little time to be able to go. Let Pastor Langhoff know ASAP! Hey, I'm thinking about something fun like a "Trivia Rally." That's where we split into groups of three or four, follow clues to different locations and then have to answer a Bible trivia question or complete some sort of challenge in order to get the clue for the next location. Kinda like the Great Race on TV, only with Bible stuff! Let me know what you think! Our next Sunday is January 7th. We need to plan what to do for the rest of the year...campouts, retreats...etc. Be there or be square! (Did I just say that?) | | |
