Vocaloid |
|
So you’ve probably noticed a unique, yet synthetic voice singing some music on our Website. Powering these singers is Yamaha's singing synthesis computer software... Vocaloid. This state-of-the-art software can synthetically sing musical notes and lyrics using professional sounding voices. With careful work, the results can sound very realistic. When I first began listening to music created with Vocaloid, I was so impressed with the clarity and quality, I wanted to learn more. I purchased and familiarized myself with the software. |

Introducing Prima, Sonika, and Tonio |
My decision of what virtual singer to use with Vocaloid was not made overnight. Many Vocaloids are not available in English, limiting my decision. Being most familiar with is traditional Christian music, I looked for a voice that would sound great singing such music. My final decision led to the purchase of Vocaloid Prima.Prima, An Opera Singer by Zero-G Ltd, is the first voice I have been using with Vocaloid2 since August 2011. With such a sophisticated, classical voice, she is a great candidate for “synthetically” singing Traditional Christian Music. I eventually began using Tonio, a Male Classical Singing partner for Prima also by Zero-G Ltd, in February 2012. More recently in April 2012, I began using Sonika, whose young soft voice specializes in Pop music. I am currently still an armature music artist, but I have published several short songs on this page sung by the Vocaloids I use for your enjoyment. I tend to keep many of my songs short. Most only contain the first verse.
