Wow, 2011 is just about behind us, and the New Year just around the corner. Some planning needs to be done,as we haven't had many events recently, so Carolyn Stafford and I put our heads together and came up with plans for the early part of the year. Since you are probably setting up your 2012 calendars this would be a good time to jot down some dates.
We are planning:
January 22, 2012 Spaghetti Dinner 4--6:00p.m.
Febuary 21,2012 Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner 4--6:00p.m.
March 16 & 17, 2012 GARAGE SALE (Save your stuff)
March 28, 2012 Lenten Soup Supper After Lenten Service
April 22.2012 Ice Cream Social 2--4:00p.m.
It is not too early to let me know if you could plan to help at any or all of these events. We really want to have a good turnout and everyone enjoy themselves. To do the pancake dinner correctly I need 5 COOKERS and 6 SERVERS. We need workers for the rest as well as cleaners. Please consider volunteering and let me know and I will coordinate it. Also, the second portion of our congregational meeting will be held after the 10:30a.m. service on January 29th, please plan to attend.
