HERE WE GO. . .
We are headed with lighting speed into graduation time. Michelle will begin Standards of Learning tests (SOL)required for students in the state of Virginia to make sure that all students are receiving the minimum information. For third grade she was the SOL Queen being recognized at a school assembly with a crown, sash and scepter. For fourth grade she only had a few tests but did well. She will have completed tests in Writing, Reading, Math, Social Studies, and Science by the end of the day May 28. Then it will be all down hill until June 11 when she actually has a graduation ceremony where she will receive her "diploma" closing the door on elementary school and running headlong into middle school. Zeke is looking forward to summer as he will be attending a day camp with friends from school for the first time in the two previous summers. He is looking forward to all sorts of activities. Zeke will most likely be a second grader next year as he has done well in all of his studies this year. He enjoys reading and is excited because we finally got him a library card.
