Our Christian youth, our most valuable resource!
Young people and families are important to us here at Ascension.
Children of all ages are very much welcome in church during the service! We remember Jesus' words in Matthew 19:14.

We are currently looking for young families and enthusiastic leaders to help build our Sunday School and Confirmation programs. Join us!

Children come upstairs first, into the church with their families, at 9:45 A.M. to begin the service together. Our school facilities are located downstairs when Sunday School is in session.

In past years, our program was one of the largest in the area, and the pride and joy of our congregation. Many of our members today grew up in Ascension's Sunday School and cherish fond memories of Christmas pageants, youth group outings, and their faithful teachers. And they have kept the faith they learned there. We pray and thank God for an even brighter future.


A church council meeting in our fun Sunday School space dowstairs, a great environment for youngsters to learn and grow in. Here Lou and Pastor are enjoying some special Hungarian cookies.
