The president shall preside over meetings of the Church Council and of the congregation unless the meeting decides otherwise.

The vice-president shall preside in the absence of the president, unless the meeting decides otherwise. The vice-president shall be expected to serve on the Personnel Committee.

1. Record minutes of meetings of the congregational Council and make copies available to members.
2. Announce all meetings of the Congregational Council according to C10.03, and identify meeting places.
3. Keep attendance records of each Congregation Council meeting, advising president of the Congregation of absentees: notify members having two consecutive unexcused absences. (C12.01)
4. Call for annual reports of the pastor (s), staff, officers, boards, committees, and organizations of the Congregation. Such reports shall include activities of the previous year, and shall be submitted in writing to the church office on or before the first Sunday of each year.

1. Ensure that a written monthly report is made to the Congregation Council of income, expense and cash position compared with budget.
2. Ensure the congregation is informed of financial condition at least monthly.
3. Prepare an annual report to the congregation.
