We are a Lutheran congregation in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. We happen to be one of the few Lutheran congregations within 20 miles of Wilkesboro. If you are in town and want a Lutheran worship experience you are welcome to come, visit, stay a while, and even make us your home!Our regularly scheduled gathering times are:

Our Office is staffed by our secretary and pastor at the following times:Wednesday: 9:00 am - noon
Friday: 9:00 am - noon Our pastor is in the office at other times during the week (mornings and afternoons). Because of visitations, hospital calls, and community meetings the office is not officially staffed at those times. Why Is Our Website Black Background with White Lettering? |
You may be unaccustomed to viewing content in reverse color schemes like we are using here on this website. We'd like to take some space on our homepage and explain why it is that we have chosen to use this color scheme.Before beginning the explanation, think for a moment about your computer when you turn it off. When your computer is in a powered down mode, the monitor is completely black. When it is using no power at all, your screen is black. Of course, if you turn your computer on stand-by mode you may have a screen-saver, but most of these screen savers utilize a black background to make the stand-by mode as friendly to saving power as possible. This same rationale is used on this website. We want you to only have to pay for the content that you have come here to see. So, the background is turned black so you are not paying to have your monitor lighting up the background. The words are white, but the words (and pictures) are most likely what you have come here to find! So, think of our website design as an intentional effort to help you save a little electricity each time you come to see us here on the web. God Bless! | | | |
