Welcome to the Our Savior's Lutheran Church and Emmanuel Lutheran Church!Founded in 1872, we are well into our second century of service to the Lord. We are located in west central Wisconsin and a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, Northwest Synod of Wisconsin. We welcome you to worship with us, learn about and praise our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and join us in fellowship and the work of the church's life and mission. If you are a new resident in the Greenwood or Longwood community and searching for a church home, our doors are open to you. If you are a long time resident of our community, we would like to meet you. We also want to share with you God's love and the gift of His Son, Jesus, who lived, died and rose again. Feel free to contact Pastor Campbell at 715-267-6142. |

THANK YOU..... |
The Worship and Music Committee at Our Savior's wishes to thank the many lay ministers that willingly did their part in conducting Worship Services while Pastor Brian was away on family leave. We worked well together both behind the scenes and those up front to ensure Sunday Worship was as "normal" as possible without Pastor Brian. We want to especially thank Shirley Kangas for being the guiding hand, Cathy Langreck for keeping it on track and Pastor Mark Schwinn for being our "go-to person". I think we all agree, however, it will be nice to have Pastor Brian back in our midst.
THANKS, ALSO.... |
Emmanuel would like to thank their members who willingly volunteered to help with Worship Services during these past weeks....sometimes, literally, as they walked in the door! We especially thank Kaj Petersen for his Sunday messages and leadership in Worship.
AND ANOTHER THANK YOU.... |
We would also like to extend another THANK YOU to Pastor Nancy Amacher for very quickly re-arranging her plans and coming to lead both Our Savior's and Emmanuel in Worship on Easter Sunday!

QUARTERS FOR HUNGER |
As in past years, our congregations are collecting quarters as well as other loose change, cash and checks for the Annual Northwest Synod Assembly to be held in Eau Claire the first weekend in June. We will be sending the quarter collection in mid-May so the total amount received from all the Synod congregations can be announced at the Assembly. Two thirds of these donations will be directed to the hunger/food sustainability efforts in our companion synod of Malawi and one third will go to the ELCA World Hunger appeal. Specifically marked containers for your donations are available at both churches through Sunday, May 13. Checks should be made payable to your congregation with "Synod Assembly" noted on the memo line. | | | Go To Page: 1 [2] |
