| Welcome to United Lutheran Church! |
A Christian faith community, "in the city for good". Joined together first for worship and fellowship together, then going out into the world to make a difference for Jesus' sake. Currently our outreach ministries include Our Father's Kitchen, providing groceries & a weekly community meal, and our quilting group which creates quilts which are donated worldwide through Lutheran World Relief. For spiritual growth, we experience a variety of worship music in traditional and contemporary music forms, with weekly communion, and twice weekly Bible Study. This is God's house -- all are welcome here! |

What we believe |
Luther's Seal |
This church believes that God is one God, manifest in the three persons of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ, God's son is Lord and Savior, that he died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins, that God raised him from the dead and in doing so, invites us all into eternal life with him.
We believe that the Bible is God's Holy word, inspired by him, for the purpose of revealing Jesus' saving power to the world and to be the authoritative source and norm of our proclamation, faith, and life. Beginning with the Word in creation, continuing in the history of Israel, and centering in all its fullness in the person and work of Jesus Christ, God is revealed to us in love.

We are proud to host the Tacoma Table Tennis Club, meeting in our gymnasium on Thursday evenings.We are also the home of Vine of Life Samoan Congregation, and the Southside Seventh Day Adventists. |
