West Prairie Lutheran Church and Our Saviors Lutheran Church are members of the Leland Lutheran Parish (ELCA). We currently do not have a minister. Mr. Jim Mantel and Pastor Clarence Baalson have been filling the pulpit during this interim period.

On March 4, 2012, West Prairie held their first vote to leave the ELCA. The resolution passed: 36 Yes - 18 No. Our Call Committee will be taking steps to determine when the second vote will be held. They will also explore other Lutheran denominations for our church to join should the second vote pass.
