Lutheran Beliefs:

Salvation:
We believe we are saved by God’s grace alone, received through faith alone, in Christ alone.
Christ has fulfilled all of God’s demands perfectly, and He gives us His righteousness as a free gift. There is nothing we can do to earn God’s favor, we simply believe it to be true (faith).

Bible:
We believe the Bible is the inspired (“God-breathed”) and inerrant (without mistakes) Word of God. It is powerful and used by the Holy Spirit to create faith in our hearts. It is the only source of our teachings.

Baptism
Baptism is a Sacrament (sacred act) in which God washes away our sins and adopts us into His family. Because all people are sinners, everyone needs the grace and forgiveness Baptism offers.

Holy Communion:
The Lord’s Supper is also a Sacrament which forgives our sins and strengthens our faith.
It is the true body and blood of Christ, given in, with, and under the bread and wine.
Holy Communion also signifies a “common union” of beliefs that we share as a church family.

Worship:
Worship is a “Divine Service” in which God serves us with His Word and Sacraments.
Our services are reverent and joyful; using a historic liturgy taken from Scripture and passed down for centuries.
