Coordinating volunteers and other resources is important and we have the knowledge and experience to help others in the work towards cleanup and rebuilding efforts...
Most communities will need supplies along with volunteer labor immediately following a disaster. Giving Back Hope is able to work with local churches and local government agencies as well as other groups to immediately begin helping in the relief efforts. That help is hope that for many in the community will be welcome relief and may be in the form of volunteer labor to begin cleaning up and restoring the private properties that are affected as a result of the disaster, and may also include prayer, food, clothing or other supplies as they become available, We come with experience and a determination to serve and facilitate coordination efforts, tools and volunteers to assist in any way that we may be able to. We wish to serve the elderly, the disabled, the poor and anyone who is in need and all who ask for help. In disasters or in poverty stricken communities.
Rebuilding in the Ruins
Along with the clean up efforts we return to work with the skilled and unskilled volunteers to work with the local churches and families rebuilding what has been destroyed. We seek out those who thru no fault of their own have lost everything and have no means to begin to replace what has been lost. Supplying labor, materials, helping hands and healing.
Biblical Counseling
Along with the experience and coordination of volunteers we can help to provide experienced counselors. We welcome any person who is experiencing difficulties in life whether it is a as a result of the disaster or another hardship. More than just words of comfort we strive to counsel only from a biblical view. Providing HOPE that can only come with the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and pointing to the Church as the instrument that God distributes His means of grace through. We know the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God to bring us from death to live and to bring forth a new person who will walk in the newness of life and hope that if found in faith in Jesus Christ.
Giving Back Hope gladly proclaims this Gospel as we point and encourage individuals and families to return to His Church where His means of grace are distributed through the Word and Sacraments.
